CLOVER LEAFS GUN DOG TRAINING PROGRAMS

Clover leaf has the complete personal foot hunting dog training program. Located one hour north of Sioux Falls. Our hunting dog training grounds include 600 acres of real wild pheasant habitat . I believe your dog training should be done on the same type of grounds that you will be hunting. our training grounds are just that in the fall I do guided and unguided Pheasant hunts. We also have four several ponds and a creek that run thru the farm which is great for water work, conditioning and cooling your dog down in the summer heat.

In each of our training programs all dogs are started with basic obedience, the proper introduction to birds and gunfire. e-collar training and handing in and out of the field with verbal and whistle commands.

I have also belonged to NAVHDA and been testing for the past 6 years and also do the AKC hunt test. I've also use what I"ve learned from the rick and Ronnie Smith seminars and their silent command System.

Growing up on a dairy farm I've been working with training animals my entire life. I have the knowledge and work ethic to train you and your Dog to have the most satisfying and enjoyable hunting season.

We also offer a fall conditioning program for your dog so he or she is in good shape and a tuned up for a great fall hunting season.

Clover leaf Pheasant Farm offers 2 training programs. Owners can select the training program that best suits their time and their budget. Owners can choose from boarding and training or one on one training sessions. Please see details below.

ONE ON ONE TRAINING SESSIONS $35.00/Hr/plus birds

Our one on one training sessions last approximately 2 hours. these sessions are very useful for training your dog a specific skill or to evaluate and correct an undesirable behavior. During each session you will learn how to train your dog yourself.

BOARDING & TRAINING $130.00/week/plus birds

You can also choose to leave your dog at clover leaf for boarding and training. We set goals as to what training we will do with each dog. owners are invited to visit their dog and monitor their dog's progress. we also spend time with you to show you how to handle your dog and how to maintain your dog's training.


Retrieving $130.00/week

We also do Force Breaking to Retrieve for dogs that do not retrieve naturally, or is a little lazy on his or her retrieve.
